First Steps!!!
Jake took TWO steps last night! It was so exciting and so scary at the same time! He's growing up so quickly.
He gets so excited and proud of himself that all he can do is two steps before his whole body tenses up and he loses his balance. Very cute! It won't be long before I'm chasing him all over the place. oh boy.Comments:Add a comment:

So I think I've cried pretty much every day this week. Something about my baby's first year of life coming to an end is really starting to get to me.
I promise, I'll have it all out of my system by his party on Saturday afternoon. At least, that's the plan anyway.
After he turned three months old, I started referring to his age in months instead of weeks of age. I would say, "He is six months old" for the first two weeks of the month, then "Six and a half months" for the next week, then "almost seven months" for the last week of the month.
Even though he is only a day and a half away from one year old, I still can't bring myself to say "he's one year old." Mostly I've been telling people, "His first birthday is on Friday." The first time I have to say it I might just lose it... if it happens to be you I'm talking to, bear with me.Comments:Add a comment:
